If there is limited information in the senior housing accommodation postings, it is because the senior housing providers have not completed the FREE All for Seniors Questionnaire.

 

 

 

 

Subsidized Housing Information:

There are many providers that are funded or affiliated with the Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) or the BC Housing Registry. The number for VIHA is 250-370-8699 or 1-877-370-8699. NEW SENIOR HOUSING FOR SAANICH, BC:
There will be new senior housing in Saanich called Carey Walk at 3812 Carey Rd. It will include 27 units for low-income seniors and 27 units for seniors in need. Mount View Campus of Care, federal and provincial governments, Baptist Housing and the CRD all contributed to this new campus of care project, due to be completed by May 2012. Also slated for development, is a 7 storey 244 unit residential care facility and a 6 storey 112 unit independent living complex. Commercial space will also be in this development.
